Mom Calm Ideas

Mom Calm Ideas:

I recently met with a group of moms with young children as a way to understand their struggles during Covid, and help them carve out some me-time, even though it seems there’s never enough time for mom.

One mom said, “I can tell that my family feels calmer and happier when I put my anxious vibes away!”

Here’s what these amazing, family-front-line-moms were doing to help relieve their stress and carve out calm:

  • Stay up a little later and enjoy the quite
  • Listen to audio books
  • Add 5 minutes to your shower
  • Listen to podcasts
  • Wake up before everyone and do a quick workout
  • Take a walk without the kids or the dog
  • Grace helps me soften with myself and my husband
  • Grace helps me soften with my kids too
  • Face masks and aromatherapy
  • Tea time in the sun
  • Yoga
  • Journal
  • Paint
  • You tube meditation videos
  • Bath time for mom
  • Walks outside
  • Diffusing my oils
  • Listening to the ocean
  • Listening to animals
  • Limit what Covid information you watch/listen to
  • Color with your kids
  • Swim
  • Qigong
  • Exercise
  • Zentangle

While many of you are continuing to be impacted by Covid, you are probably working double time, taking care of your families, working from home, trying not to get on each other’s nerves, but also feeling exhausted and overwhelmed.

Please do one of the stress-relieving activities above, or email me to share your own mom calm idea.  I promise I will add it to the list and send to other moms with young children.

Have a relaxing day,

❤️ Lori
